ACTIVITIES
Staying Active
Aside from our everyday duties such as cleaning, doing schoolwork, or going to work, our family has been filling our time with various activities. On nice days, we enjoy taking the dogs for walks around our neighborhood or to nearby hiking areas — social distancing of course! Alyssa and Heather also enjoy lifting weights and doing at home workouts.
Relaxing
In our downtime, we enjoy relaxing. Dennis and Carla enjoy watching the news every evening and doing puzzles. Dennis also enjoys the sudoku puzzles in the daily newspaper. Alyssa, Chloe, and Heather enjoy soaking in our inflatable hot tub and watching lots of Netflix. For Easter, Chloe and Heather colored cute pictures, cut them out, and made decorations for Easter dinner.
Food
The women in the house have been experimenting in the kitchen and trying new recipes, which Dennis always enjoys sampling. Some delicious recipes we have made are long john donuts, cinnamon rolls, and chipotle chicken fajitas with homemade tortillas. We garnished the fajitas with sour cream, cheddar cheese, and limes to add more flavor.
